Commonwealth Trials – Mens 200 Back final

As predicted, Simon Militis provided Gregor Tait’s biggest challenge as he finished second behind the scot in teh 200 backstroke to book a game splace. The race showed plenty of promise for the next generation of British Backstorkers with 3 finalists under the age of 20, one of whom, James Goddard gave himself a great chance of a place in the games, finishing as the second English swimmer and under the qualifying time.
