Veteran Karen Pickering booked her ticket for Manchester with a sub 2min swim. Karen Legg finished in secodn also under teh qualifying time, but will have to wait to see if she gets a place on the team.

A close battle saw Steve Parry get the better of his long term rival James Hickman. Both men were well under the qualifying mark however and it would be a major surprise if both are not back in Manchester come July.
