miley and davies shine in eindhoven

Hannah Miley set a new British Record and David Davies announced his comeback with impressive performances at the Dutch Nationals in Eindhoven this weekend.

Scotland's Miley (right) carved swathes off her personal best to post a time of 4:44.21 for the 400m Individual Medley, 0.39s faster than Becky Cooke's existing mark. Meanwhile, Davies was a class apart in the 1500 freestyle, coasting under the required qualification standard for the Melbourne World Championships. the Welshman showed few ill effects from his time out of the water with a foot infection as he came home in 14:55.46 -0 the second fastest time in the world this year.
