"We all came together really well today to become more than just the sum of our parts and all the swimmers supported each other brilliantly. The kids were really up for it throughout and I thought all of our swimmers looked really strong at the back end of their races. Our two captains James Hickman and Karen Nisbet were tremendous examples today and we got a really good start in the two medleys with James and Rebecca Shaw which set us up for a great afternoon. But really this win is for Terry Denison - the kids really wanted to win it for him."

"I'm really pleased for everyone at the club as it's a real reflection on the outstanding work of the coaches right through the programme and the commitment of the swimmers. It's also important to remember that its the club team here today, there are other swimmers in our programme who swim for their home clubs in this competition. We've made great progress throughout, and although people like Rachel Genner and Adam Whitehead are great for the team they can't win competitions like this by themselves, so it's tremendous for the whole team."

"We've set a benchmark at 1:09 for Rachel and we expect her to swim that fast every time she swims. That's the 6th time she's been under 1:10 this season and it gives us a great platform to build from."
