World record in men’s 200m breaststroke
Russia's Dimitri Komornikov broke the first long course world record of the year at the Mare Nostrum meeting in Barcelona on Saturday. Komornikov posted a time of 2:09.52 for the 200 breast, beating the old record set by Japan's Kitajima at last year's Asian Games.
