In addition to writing and producing content for pullbuoy, founder Steve Buckley has also written for Swimming TimesSwimswam.com, and the British Swimming website and was a contributor to the Telegraph Olympics Blog in the lead up to London 2012. He’s also provided expert insight to a variety of media outlets since then.

TV

During the Rio Olympics in 2016, Steve made an appearance on Sky News to discuss Adam Peaty’s gold medal in the 100m breaststroke and the GB team’s pool prospects, as well as the spectre of doping.

Radio

During the London Olympics, Steve appeared on the BBC World Service and BBC Radio 5Live discussing events in the aquatic centre, notably after Michael Jamieson’s silver medal in the 200m Breaststroke.

He has also appeared on Talksport Radio to talk about Britain’s successful showing at the European championships of 2014.

For the 2016 Olympics, Steve made an appearance on Talk Radio for a more light-hearted segment with host Bob Mills.

Commentary

As part of the long running pullbuoy podcast, Steve along with podcast co host Katie turned their hand to commentary for the International Swimming League in London for a special podcast episode.
