unstoppable burnett sets fourth british record

The English Commonwealth Trials are fast becoming the Simon Burnett show as the Arizona based swimmer set his fourth British Record of the meet last night. Qualifying fastest from the semi finals Burnett blasted a 48.76 to knock 0.89s off Matt Kidd’s existing mark and become the first British man under 49 seconds. In the night’s only finals there were wins for Gregor Tait in the 200IM and David Davies over 1500m.
