With action in Glasgow just two months away, Scotland has confirmed their swimming team for the Commonwealth Games as they seek to repeat their best ever performance at this meet which took place in the same Tollcross pool 12 years ago.
Headlined by the preselected Duncan Scott and Angharad Evans, both of whom are strong favourites for medals, the squad of 25 will no doubt be confident of making their mark in the pool.
England has confirmed its swimming team for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, with the full complement of 28 named to travel north of the border in the summer. Angharad Evans smashed her second British Record of the week as she crashed through the 1:05 barrier with an exceptional 100m breaststroke swim. It was the highlight of a fast and furious final night which delivered a number of qualifying swims. Here’s a selection update.
