Scot Gregor Tait underlined his credentials for teh games once again, leading his English counterparts in teh 100 back. Adam Ruckwood was first English man home in a time over the QT so he will be looking for selection via his other performances. Men’s 200IM final
Mixed feelings for Robin Francis who after a poor start knocked nearly 1s off his PB only to fall agonisingly short of the QT. The result coupled with his win in the 400IM may mean no English participation in the medley events. European junior champion James Goddard showe well early on but faded to 4th, being overtaken by Adrian Turner and Scot David Carry on the freestyle leg.
