Following the conclusion of the Aquatics GB Championships last weekend, Aquatics GB have now confirmed a team of 28 who will compete at the World Championships in Singapore in the summer, with six discretionary picks added to the 22 who were selected directly.
It was quite the week in London at the 2025 Aquatics GB Swimming Championships as we saw two British Records, plenty of close racing and a closing event with drama that just couldn’t be predicted. That means plenty for Steve Katie and Bob to mull over, we hear from some of the top performers of the week including record setters Ollie Morgan and Angharad Evans and breakout star Jacob Mills.
The 2025 British Swimming Championships came to a close with backstroke and breaststroke excitement and the now customary 200m freestyle shoot out as events came to a close in London. A new British record for Angharad Evans and a tie in the men’s 200 freestyle set the seal on the week.
The penultimate night of finals brought sprint and medley fireworks to the London Aquatic Centre as three more qualification standards for this summer’s World Championships were achieved.
