It was a superb week of swimming for Britain at the European championships in Budapest, with a haul of 26 medals, including 11 gold, lifting the team to the head of the medal table. That included a remarkable relay performance which delivered 7 gold and 2 silver from 9 relays.
There is a lot then for us to review and celebrate on the podcast – join Steve, Bob and Katie to look back at an exciting week’s action in the pool and consider the implications for the Tokyo Olympics.

Just wanted to say thanks for the podcast. I’ve been following swimming for 35 years and I’ve never been so excited about Team GB’s prospects. It’s brilliant to listen to you guys share that enthusiasm and put it across with somewhat more insight than the BBC commentators! If Duncan Scott could be fully rested in a day, I wish the Olympics were starting tomorrow.
Bob you’re a legend, but you already knew that!
